So I want to learn a computer language. Do you guys have any suggestions on what I should learn (And give me its applications). I was thinking java or C++. I really don't know all that much about this stuff so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not too sure what I want to do (i know, not exactly helpful Razz). I want something I can mess around with, have fun with and something that is useful (/has a decent variety of uses).
