After i disassembled my laptop's screen (didnt deattach any cables except for my keyboard and switch cover)...I get horizontal ridged lines every now and then. It happens randomly as far as i know.

Examples:

When i started a game. When i was idle and came back to open firefox. When a youtube vid was loading.

When it happens, everything is frozen except for my keyboard, press caps lock and it lights up.

Is this possibly a connection problem? It never happened before i disassembled.?

Well, it's certainly not BSOD, main indication: It's not blue

It could be a lose contact yes

Sometimes if my laptop overheats, my screen turns off and my laptop restarts. Right at startup, i see an error message that says BlueScreen. So a BSOD isnt always blue.

Hint: It's not because it's green.

there is a green screen of death | That's why I picked green out of all the colors I could have picked.

				| For all the genius' in this thread, you can have a bsod and it reboots before you see it. The screen can crash in its own way since its a laptop.

Didn't you have a dv6x00 that went downhill when you cracked it open?

If I were you, I'd recheck all the [connections] I messed around with. Why did you take it apart anyway?
