Just created a new signature, wondered what people think. I reckon it's a lot better than my last one. I know it's a little plain and the colours are a little washed, but it's the look I was going for.

Yes, it is a lot better then the previous. Something seems a tad bit off though. It might be the name placement.

I think I need to shift the text over to the right by 3 or 4 pixels, maybe down a couple.

It's ugly. I've seen the same brush/shape used over and over again over the years it's been available and really it makes me want to puke. If you want to seriously make sigs for yourself but not get too into things, stick with text, and learn how make just text look awesome. If you want to make proper signatures you could do abstract, but not many people have a knack for that so you're probably better going with a render and a sig.
