| cancer is a mutation which does what super secret chill area described. your question is to ask what causes a mutation. it can have a lot of causes, both environmental and hereditary/genetical.

That irregularity is usually caused by an outside source such as radiation.

Some cancer is actually hereditary, if its in your family bad then theres a good chance it will pass down to you or your siblings.

It is different. And also if you ingest alpha radiation they will ionise your cells causing cancer.
