I don't get it.
Q already toggles to your last used weapon.
And I've never found using the numbers to change weapons a problem.
Might be better for people with smaller hands / big keyboards.
Also isn't shift walk?
Or am I thinking of anther game?

Right now q toggles to your last used weapon, yes. With this script it toggles between primary and secondary fire, while Shift toggles to melee and back to last used weapon when released.
Especially for people with bigger keyboards this will make toggling between weapons much quicker, and could possibly save your life in some situations. (eg. low life on Soldier, hold Shift and run away. Encounter someone on the way? Just release Shift and quickly press M1).
I guess it's also just a matter of preference, but to me this certainly makes much more sense and is a lot quicker.
EDIT: Also, on Half Life 2 and CS:S (I think), Shift is walk. Not on TF2. How could walk ever be useful anyways?

We're still playing TF2. Even if this was the case, the general TF2 player is too unaware of his surroundings to even notice.

There is no general TF2 player.
No 2 players are alike.

No 2 players are alike. | Yeah running forward and holding down the mouse button as pyro is definitely not a tactic used by fucking everyone.
@Emil: Seems cool but I can't be assed with it.
