What you do, it find the official 3.1.2 firmware upgrade, go into itunes, hold alt and click restore, then locate the 3.1.2 firmware and click apply or what ever, then go to blackra1n.com and download blackra1n, open the program, click make it rain, and then you're done. _________________

Tyler, That firmware costs money from what i understand. I understand the process of putting the firmware onto it though.
xun, Talix gave me some custom firmware, i tried doing the restore mode shit, kept giving me an error when i tried the correct Itouch version upgrade, error 1601 was given.
Captain, you gotta stop googling shit and just linking it. trust me, i google before i come here. All that shit, doesn't work. Because
1. I'm trying to upgrade to atleast version 3.0, not keep the fucking 2.2.1 like you googl'd.

Well the amount of guides i found for JB this itouch was what messed me up. I didn't know what to look for at first, then i ended up figuring it out and still not knowing what i needed.
Unlike know i know, I need to DL the 3.1.2 FM and update, which i found one on piratebay tyler. About to restore my ipod now. And i was tired as fuck last night and i'm stupid when i am.
