Protip: You need 10k+ steps to catch a flying Pikachu, and even then there is still like a 3% chance of finding one. 9.5k+ steps to find a surfing one, and 5k+ steps to find one with volt tackle. All 3 of them have like a 3% chance.

Also, I'll trade a volt tackle Pikachu for something not completely shit. I've got an extra flying one for something super kawaii. No pokesav'd shit. I can tell, faggot.
Also, 3 !!!'s is a surfing or flying, 2 of them is a volt tackle one.

i've been getting like 30k steps per day. Not a single surfing pikachu and like 4 flying ones ._.
trading was the only way that i managed to snag one. Currently a raichu, lv69. <3

I've got like 4 volt tackle ones, a surfing one and 2 flying ones.
I was hoping there'd be a special flying / surfing animation.
