Didn't help me on a PC with 2GB Ram and Vista.
Nor did it help in Windows 7 64 Bit 6GB Ram

| If you have windows 7 on less than 1gb ram, yes it does. If you have 2gb or more, you wont even notice a change.

I find 2GB starving. It can run the OS fine.
But when doing anything with video, It takes a million years.
How much do you think staving is? 1GB? 512Mb?

512 and lower
your usb stick isn't blisteringly fast, but for small, random reads, it's better than falling back to page file
