Where is FireFox history stored on a Vista machine? My nephew got caught watching 2 woman do things to each other. So we need to block all of the sites he goes to. History got cleared when he saw us walking through the door.

Anyone know where Firefox stores History is stored on a vista computer?

It was probably private browsing.

You can do is open firefox and click on the history option follow by show all history.
If no entries are listed, it's already deleted.

You can do is setup a standard account, enable parental control and then monitor his web surfing behavior.

If he killed the history, it won't exist on disk.

There is software to block sites (one-by-one is a terrible approach).

Maybe not, but I didn't want to explain it much further. Either way finding the history would be pretty nonsensical if all he wants to do is block porn sites.

Blocking some of the pron sites in his history won't achieve anything.
If he watches porn, then he will watch again, no doubt about it.
He will find ways. There are plenty other resources.
He would go on other sites, die to remove parental controls or go buy DVD's.
It is inevitable.

Talking to him is the best solution.

Blocking shit wont help. At the worst it could hurt your own usage on the pc. My mother got one of them programs to block any and every porn site + anything that could relate. It started blocking her shit too. You need to talk to him, get him to stop, or just let him figure it out.
