All you would need is something to change the pitch of your voice. Tune it a lot lower and no one will be able to tell your voice. Any program can do that.

So you're telling me Windows Audio Recorder can accomplish this?

Wasn't aware there was a such thing.

Voice hiding is simply making your voice a lot lower so that it can't be recognized. Nothing complicated at all. If there is something in Windows Audio Recorder that can do that, then yes it can accomplish that.

I think Windows Audio Recorder can, but it'll slow it down considerably as well. Use Audacity.

Can't someone simply use an Audio Editor and raise the pitch after and retrieve the original voice?

Yeah.

Would there be a way to return it exactly as before, or would you have to just play around with the pitch and guess what pitch is his voice?

Just wondering because I see it on TV sometimes and I am thinking of returning the pitch to normal and giving the voice to the mafia for a small fee of $99999999999999999999999999.
Just kidding, just curious.
Personally, I'd just use Text to Speech which is already incorporated into Windows. That way, there would be no way of tracking who the voice is. Better yet, combine Text to Speech and Pitch changer to create the ultimate voice. Very Happy

But Microsoft Sam can't pronounce 75% of the english words.. So people would just think it's a retarded person, and they wouldn't care..

But yea, Audacity is great for this (and other effects) and it's free.
