I was assuming you were a guy and that you were straight.
There are different personalities for girls(and for guys). Most people tend to look for the same type of person in a relationship. Whether it be some specific feature or special type of mentality, we tend to look for partners who have those traits. After relationships with these people fails repeatedly, you're better off going for something different. It's obvious that these types of people are not meeting some standard that you are not aware of, or that they are doing something which turns you off.
