Thats because the little circles you gave them a layer style, should of kept them on Normal, and with the gradient you gave it, it would help create depth.
I also try blurring some of the lines to make them feel like they're far away.

I didn't add a layer style to the circles at all. Also good idea.

You can't fix this now, but I keep thinking, it would look better if the whole thing was in one smooth curve. The curve is sort of jagged, and doesn't really flow right.
