I'm looking into buying a new computer and I'm not sure what would be the best choice. Please give a reason when voting

The best operating system is the one that you are most comfortable with.

I, for example like windows XP and see now reason to upgrade.

I prefer XP out of all honestly, because it is user friendly, no start up lag, and lots of exploits.

And no stupid security "DO YOU WANT 2 OPEN"

Also, vista/se7en are nice for DX10.

But XP is the best in my opinion.

Yeah then everytime you start up it tells you your UAC is disabled and that you need the enable it, as if it is a security issue.

how does this make any sense considering W7 is basically improved vista

unless you tried running it in a pile of shit, it works perfectly fine.
