Also, it's pretty hypocritical to go on and make a bigger one yourself (and make it worse, lol).

he may be a little of a **** sometimes but he is quite good at design.

Okay no his doesn't for one thing because all he did was resize the picture, and he started it refer back to the "All artists involved" and here we go again.. about to just say fuck this section

Lol can't believe you guys said his looked better and all he did was resize the picture and it wasn't even in the guidelines of 100x100 like the request was for, and the 2nd one i made looks a hell of a lot better.. if you think other wise then you have zero taste.

well I studied graphic design not arts (( actually in my last years of high school with formal classes and a little more by myself after)) but what they teach us is that its not about adding lots of things but fitting things in the best way.
almost always the best thing is to keep a simple and clean design.

now I'll tell you why yours is not really good:

you know the image is not really big so it looks cramped if you add a thick border like you did. now, the color you picked for the border doesnt blend with the rest of the picture so it makes it look like out of place and its even worse because it doesn't have a consistent pattern.

that's it for the border, and now, the text.. really I wouldn't add more than a little line with a nickname or an abbreviation, it also looks out of place as it is right now.

that's why Connor's design looks better, its simple, clean, doesn't need anything to be added in, in fact it would be ruined if you add something on top of it.

Well I don't like simple and clean, I like technical and creative. The border I don't see how you can say it sucks and its in the way, I actually put a lot of detail into that border... I think mine is better still, Connor only made one to be a dick.
