Actually I did watch it. The weekend after it came out in theaters. The acting was terrible and stuff only happened at night. So that pretty much made 70% of the movie boring. THEN when stuff did happen, it wasn't scary at all... A door moves, lights turn on, footsteps, etc... And the ending I SAW was terrible, the chick killed the dude and then she got shot by cops, which was totally irrelevant to real life, as the cops would have disarmed her instead of shooting. And to make things WORSE, I was all excited about the movie, after hearing it was the "scariest movie of all time". After I saw it, I nearly cried for wasting money on it.
It's a movie for guys to take their girlfriends to see so they can get some cuddles. Not a movie you take your friend to see for screams and jumps.
I was just terribly disappointed in the entire thing.

What the fuck they shot the chick? I didn't saw that the ending was she killed the boy and then took him throw him into the camera and she was standing there laughing at the camera and was eating the corpse that was the ending.

Still, good ending or not, the majority of the movie consisted of nothing but terrible humor and un-frightening fright.
