Should i get 2nd gen cause it has a jail broken that isnt tethered, or the third gen cause it has better specs,but has a tethered jailbreak and chronic dev's are working on a semi-tethered/non-tethered which has no release date.

yeah but the third gen is tethered so i will have to load it through the computer first to access the jail break when i turn it off and on

Get a 3rd gen.

I have one and I only need to run blackra1n if it crashes or dies. You don't have to run it if you but it in sleep mode, or even if it crashes.
