What you've currently done is painted the background of your drawing to match the color of the forum.

Transparent would be the equivalent of cutting the drawing out of the paper. That way, no matter on what forum you put it on, it'll always match the background.

Also, tip for future. If you need to find a certain color, such as the forum bg color, take a screenshot using PrntScrn of your screen, then paste it into Paint.NET / Paint.

Then use the Eyedropper tool and select the bg color.
