If you are considering a new card, Go with XFX.
They have a "Double Lifetime" Warranty.
My 9600 GT Alpha dog Fried, I opened a support, and even though I forgot to register the card, and warranty was a month over, They still had me send in the card.
It was a manufacturing defect, so they sent me back a 9800 GT (More power)
I vouch for them
The double lifetime = Register the card within a month, and its warranty for life, and for the life of the person after you (ie, you sell card, they register, get a lifetime as well)

Good information, I'll remember next time I need something.
By the way, I'll trade my HD 4850 for that 9800GT.

You are missing Intel..., great for battery life. But i'd vote nVidia. I got 2 nVidia powered laptops and a ATI, the nVidia's get extremely hot, but the ATI start to lagg after some time, while my nVidia's never caused any troubles, and if they get too hot, i just lift up the computer a bit in the back, and they cools better

Intel doesn't make Graphics Cards, they do make On board Graphics though, but still not the same thing and is much worse then an actual dedicated Card...

Being biased is dumb, both ATI and Nvidia are very good. Intel drivers are atrocious.
And there is no denying that ATI pushes all kinds of new technology first.

You shouldn't comper brands but models as previous speaker said. Both have their kickass models and both have their (N) models
