Ok im trying to help my friend and he has a stupid virus. Windows police pro, i have removed some of it, but it still is not allowing a good amount of services, He cant reformat, and installing stuff doesn't work. He does have malwarbytes, but it doesnt work. Some one help?

C:\WINDOWS\svchasts.exe <--- this looks mighty suspicious to me. end it and see if it pops back up, also see if you can run malware bytes once it's ended. Might also try renaming the malware bytes main exe to something else, actually works sometimes.

I ended Svchasts before, but i guess it came back. Teamviewer does work for him so thats open to help. And im not really sure how to rename a process.

EDIT: i think i got most of it Thanks A lot for that guide. OTM really helped.
