My dad has it installed on his PC, the RTM version
everything works good but when he tries to uninstall things his anti virus > dawn Secure blocks the process known as conhost.exe
I know that is a system process but we keep allowing it and the message appears every 2-3 seconds
Now he cant uninstall anything either
and no I dont think he would switch anti viruses..
Tried to allow it in settings but cant find it in there either
Any help would greatly be appreciated, +rep

see if you can configure the av to allow it. E.g disable resident shield if possible

To be honest it sounds like that the Anti Virus and the OS are having a hard time trying to get along, remember that that is not the true retail version just a final RTM, so I would look for something that does play nice with it until the time being that Dawn Secure does support it.

@ Dark Byte I tried to do that with the configuring of what to allow
didnt work
I even disabled it for a few minutes but I still cant uninstall something
@Saifallofjmr
It shouldnt have any problems as they were no compatibility issues

If a program is causing you to not be able to use functions of a OS you are using it is always a capability problem.

pretty sure RTM is same as retail version. at least it is the same version that manufactorers install on their manufactured hardware

RTM = Release to Manufacturing

| i know what it stands for. i'm saying it is the same version.. the point of releasing it to manufacturing is so they can load it onto all their machines that will have that OS pre-installed -.-
