I came across a problem when I decided to try and hack several games (Prototype and dark messiah for example). The problem is I cant scan them for something like health or ammo, because I can only alt+tab out of them, but when I tried using alt+tab to get back in my screen just goes black and when I check what the game is doing it says it isnt responding (the game isnt).

So I wanted to ask how to hack them. I heard you can do it by editing .dll files, but Im not quite sure if I can do that without messing up the entire game.

(I dont use 2 screens, so I cant do it that way in case your wondering)

Heard that could make some games unstable, so it that the only way to do it?

there are some other ways like pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del to bring the task manager
or in some game editing the cfg file and also in some games editing specific parts of registry

I know of several games that just crash when you use alt+ctrl+del.
As for the registry editing, I dont think Im quite ready for that as I dont want to unistall it and then install it again :/

specific games have specific part inregistry to edit and some of them can be edited for alt+tab protection. if you google that specific part you can find that

and also you can make a backup of your registry if the game could not be load

Did you try the popup hotkey in CE 5.5?
Might work with some games, might work with others.
