does anyone have a clue how to use CA internet security i keep getting some address violation or some shit when i try reinstall ce 5.5 i looked at other stuff people posting and it's normaly i have to add it to fire wall or something but CA internet security is so bloody detailed and confusing

Disable "CA internet security" then try.

Or if you are too worried about getting a virus while it's disabled, try see if the program has a "white list" or "allowed programs" list and add CE 5.5 to that.
