|
|
Good morning,
I'm trying to hack Notrium's (freeware, sorry can't post urls yet) life, energy and food. I can find the three values easily enough (they are floats offset as below). The problem is the address of these values changes when I change maps. What I would like is to prevent the program from changing the address when I change maps, I know this would probably be best done by change that bit of code to noops, but i need help finding it.
The three values start at health's stored value (example 053a57ac), then energy is forward 0x10 (example 053a57bc), and food is forward 0x30 (example 053a57ec). This has been consistent.
Thanks for your help!

Have you even tried manually looking for pointers?
If not, do it.
Don't know how? Do CE's tutorial.

I have now tried both Automated search and Manual... But I cannot seem to find it either, but then again I suck at this... And yes I have done the tutorial, all but the last tutorial, I believe it was step 9 or something.

Thanks for trying Dark Engine.
I've only worked with pointers in from the tutorial. To be honest, I only think it's a pointer because the address changes.

You mean like opcodes?
or do you mean extra info?
