A game I'm trying to hack seems to read from encrypted values. As in, having the address of the value and setting it to any type (char, 4byte, float, etc...) is not yielding the actual value. What's more, it seems that some identical values are being stored as different arrays of bytes (not sure how that's possible though).
So, what I was wondering is, does cheat engine or any UCE's have tools for decryption of an encrypted value or identifying the key used? Maybe sort of thing that could intercept the decrypted value the game reads?
Or are there any other common ways hackers deal with encrypted values?
I'm not really expecting any answers DX thanks for reading..
