|
|
Let's assume that I've said "Hello".
Let's just say that I was trying to find the x-y-z coordinates for a 3D game. Does anyone know how such coordinates are usually stored? I mean like could someone give me a usual range (ex: -2500 to 2500 or maybe -50000 to 50000) and the usual type of value (ex: 2 bytes, 4 bytes, float...)? Also, are the coordinates for x, y, or z usually inverted?
Also let's imagine that I've already tried doing a basic scan for Z in 4 bytes by using unknown initial and then getting higher/lower in game and filtering increased/decreased but that doesn't seem to be working..
Also let's just pretend that for unknown reasons I can't specify the game I'm trying to find coords in.
We can also presume that any tips would be appreciated (we can surmise that I'm trying to make a coord tele hack).
We can of course infer that I'm using a thesaurus here.

| Mmmmm tried floats and with floats unlike any of the other types the origin (0,0,0) was my spawn point. I suppose that's good.
