Hey, I am looking to buy a external hard drive though I want CEF's opinion on what's best.
Storage capacity range: 250GB+
Price range: Less than $200 AU
Thanks.

are you looking for one you plug in and has it's own fan, like this:
or one that's portable/mobile which runs straight from the usb drive, like this:

Doesn't matter whether it has it's own fan or not. I will rarely carry it, and if I do I will put it in a case. I want it to be USB though, because one of my PC's I want to use it with doesn't have firewire.

It's the angle it is taken from. I have seen that before and it's not too big.

well i have a 320gb one of those and it is larger than portable ones, and it does require you to plug it into the power point. and it does have a fan.
