Hi, I am trying to learn how to program so I can make my own hacks on some games. I am into Java at the moment because it's a great foundation, and I want to mainly learn how to create my own hacks and bypasses for Maple Story. I know that its not an easy road to learn how to program and use that knowledge to create your own bypasses and things for online games, so does anyone know any good ways to learn how to do this?

I will probably be done with this Blue Pelican Book on Java programming before summer, so can anyone drop me any hints/advice on my goal?

Oh also I was wondering what languages are hacks for Maple Story usually coded in?

How long is the time span for finding/creating hacks?

What language is Maple programmed in?

What are some good tutorials for learning the languages that Maple hacks are made in?

Oh and one last question I have is whether ASM and Java are the same in the way that you learn them, and the time span it takes to learn them. Because it was always a dream of mine to be able to make my own hacks for Maple and not be a leecher but the way Maple turned (the wz edits we do now) I am not sure of wether I can learn how to make my own hacks.

Many people make the classic mistake to just download CE and try to learn hacking with an online game.
ALWAYS start off simple like Unreal or something like that.

Just start out simple and everytime you get something, ramp it up.

I didn't download CE, its not a UCE for Maple so.... no point in using it for me. But maple is the only 2d mmorpg out there i think..

First of all, try and get the hang of CE.
Do not start with MapleStory hacking, you WILL fail...
Are you running Vista? Because if you are say goodbye to UCE's...
Start with simple games, like Sven mentioned.
do not start hacking games which are overprotected such as MapleStory.

Hum my suggestion would be to learn only nessesary thing to hack, learning a whole programming language won't help more then only learning the part you need, learn assembly, reverse engineering and stuff like that, some tool you should learn to use if you don't already, OllyDBG a great debuger if you know assembly and reverse engineering, you can do amazing hack with it. PEiD is a nice tool too, won't explain what it do just check it out if you don't know it already... If your wandering what you can do by knowing what i told before here some example: You can disable gameguard by modifying a simple Opcode with OllyDBG, you need to know wich adress and wich Opcode to change it too of course, it might be hard at start but more experience you will have it will take some min.... You can do lots of hack its simply depending of how the game is working, for example Sorien managed to make lots of hack for many game, like he made a hack to crash the server of FlyFF , made a hack to access GM command and some more (some year ago), he hacked Rohan recently made a Dmg Hack, GM command, crash other client hack, cuss filter, invisible hack.... Of course Sorien have lots of experience but those are some example of things you could do with some experience. Good luck learning, experimenting and hacking ^^ hope i will hear of you in some time saying you made some epic hax ^^
