How do you convert .PSD to .PNG? I made a new avvy for my new name...-_-

Also, how do you convert 32-bit to 8 or 16-bit?

As you can see I'm a real noob at Photoshop.

File > Save as > Change the filetype at the bottom to png.
When making a new pic (cntrl + n) change it next to colour mode.
(The 32-bit setting).

@Bold: Tried that. Didn't have .PNG as a file format.

I have Photoshop CS4.

@Other Bold: Tried that, converted to 8-bit, man, it looked UGLIER than it already was.

Needs to be 8 bit or 16 bit to save as png.

Anyway, all my sigs were made in 8bit, I never even bothered trying anything else because it was always fine for me.

File > Save optimised as for web or device.
Use that and then select .png. It works way better than the other way.

Look at the top of the screen and look at the title of the window (Photoshop). Do you see it says (CMYK) or (RGB/Cool?

Image > Mode > RGB Color

You might also want to change the number of bits per channel. 8 bits/channel still looks fine on the sig I posted earlier.
