This land is my grave,
That I will pave
My way through
That's all I can do.

This land is my addiction,
As they lay my conviction,
All I do is stare.
It is all I dare.

I am imprisoned in this land,
By my own hand.
I walk this land,
So simple and bland.

Why fight this war?
There is nothing more
For me to do,
As I go through

Actually it's about my life.

I will die and I make decisions that shape my life. I cannot escape my life hince addiction. People judge me daily so they convict me constantly and I will not question or fight them. My decisions imprison me into the crowd of everyday life. So why try? I cannot fight it. I will continue to walk the path my life has taken.

Is it easier to understand now?

Not as much of a happy ending, but I am going to write a sequel. And no I didn't really have inspiration other than my life. I just really want to get some things out that I lock away in the vault that is my mind. It is really depressing to have so much hidden from the world. Crying or Very sad

If you have a lot on your mind, then writing is an extremely good way to get out with it. Especially if it's "hidden" like this (: Can really help you. And it was well-written. Keep it up.

Thanks. I just sort of wrote it. I didn't even think about it much. I knew I was going to write a poem, I opened notepad and started. I was going to write about something completely different but it took its own shape. I just kept typing and made that in about a minute.
