| You would do a comparative binary search. 0 means it's locked, 1 = unlocked. Keep searching for 0 while it's locked, then 1 when it's unlocked. But that might not help much, because I don't think you can lock things again. If not, then you would need to quit and redo it and keep the results from the last scan. That might not help either, because if the thing uses pointers, the results would change making that worthless. |
