Is there a lot of bad stuff in it? My dad lets me play any game except the GTA games because they have "cussing" in them. Yet I can play Fallout 3 which has 8 year old boys in caves yelling the eff word at you -_-... So is there a lot of cussing in it? Nudity etc.? Need to convince him to let me buy GTA4

Ugh... I really want it cause it's a modern open world game. That's the main genre of games I like to play (Mercenaries 2, Assassin's Creed etc.)

Lol. Like the only games I play are 17+ And he lets me play GTA Liberty City ( the really really old one) but not Vice City... And I'm almost 14. I'm allowed to play Fallout 3 though, that has an enormous amount of violence, and you can mindlessly kill innocent people for fun and look down their throat after blowing their head off... And it has a fair amount of cussing, there's also some prostitution in some areas... But no GTA Sad

Your dad is blind, violence, bad role-models, crimes, etc are everywhere in the real world, you watch the news and you get all of that, maybe he doesn't trust you and thinks you'll actually be stupid enough to reenact some stuff, crazy people have.

No matter how much a parent tries to censor their children, they cannot choose their child's path.

Your dad is being too over protective and don't trust your behavior or actions. He thinks you will commit crimes like steal cars and so on since GTA is all about that.

You ever read the newspaper? Ever heard about this Asian college student who went on a shooting rampage (killed a lot of people) and finally ended by killing himself.

At first the media immediately blamed it's because he play violent games like GTA which influenced him to go on a killing spree, but after police went to his dorm to search for evidence that games was the main cause, they found none.

Hey, maybe you're a special case, but most 13 year olds are SO DAMN ANNOYING and I cringe a little when I run into little assholes that swear like sailors and act fucking retarded.
