My internet officially fails Sad

I live on a stupid military base on an island in the Pacific and I'm trying to download a game and it's taking sooooo long! 14% in 8 hours. Here's a screenshot of my downloading speed on Opera...Anyone else have incredibly slow internet?

Downloading it off of Steam. And they don't care. Plenty of people download warez. And the ISP isn't really owned by the military.

I have slow internet all the time. My pc is ok really, but internet just sux.
I'm considering to switch providers.

Usually governmental buildings have the BEST internet (including schools).

The downfall is (especially with high security) they have firewalls and DPI and many other things...

The connection may be fast, but the security will make your DLs slow to a crawl.

Is your connection shared. Maybe other people in the military base is downloading crap too.

I am almost positive if you live ON BASE, you share two really good connections... with everyone. (depending on size)

true, on a military base why would you hae a slow connection, infact you probably have better connection than most commercial areas

First of all 1.2MB, uuhhhh dude flash games are bigger than that. And if thats a torrent than it also depends on seeds. Do a speed test at www.speedtest.net
