First time getting caught stealing was from SEARS.
all they did was take me to the court and got some informal hearing and got some classes to take.
WORTH 100$ ITEM

Second time was at a school. i was with my friend, he got caught stealing an Ipod, and i was convicted of a crime to with him because i was watching
out for him.
IPOD NANO VIDEO WORTH 100$-200$?

so, we went to the school security office, the school police said that
we will be taking informal hearing, but i havent said anything about saying this is my 2nd time getting caught. and that is my friends 1st time.
soo what will happen to me?Probation?Jail TIME?(how long?)

i really regret this, and wished id never done such a thing.

EDIT: also im only 16years old.

EDIT2: my friend has gone through this problem, he said that if ure lucky to get a small pheloney u'll be okay, but if u get grand pheloney u will have to spend some time at Jail and Probation....I really dont want jail time and probation.

Probably probation is it's serious enough. & at school, might get suspended too.

My friend got caught several times vandalizing (8+ times?), like major property. (Subway station, schools, etcs) And he got out of it just by paying his fee's one of it was 550$ and doing his community service. Well just hope you get off lucky.

I really don't think thwy will send a 16 year old to jail. Maybe you will be under house arrest.

Tell me how dumb my school is...
I got 1 saturday school (6 hours on saturday) for skipping 33 classes.
I got a 2 day In-school suspention for writing a poem (for homework) with 2 swears in it that I censored out with @#$%&.

I think stealing from school means that the school punishes you, and not the police.

That's like saying fighting in school is the schools jurisdiction...

PAH! My school calls the police every time a fight breaks out... and people get arrested.

Wow. The only time the school call the police was after a friend of mines slamed his head into a bus window (the safety office from my school pinned him to the side of a bus) and broke it. They said that he destroyed public property, because the buses don't belong to the school. Also the nearest police station is an hour and a half car ride from my school.
