Okay, this will be the very first time I've slip streamed WinXP disc, I have a few questions:
1. What would be the best program? Right now I'm using nLite.
2. I already have a WinXP SP3 disc, would I need to download the SP3 itself?
3. How would I make apps that are automatically installed during the OS installation (or could I use just plain exe installers)
4. How do I delete all that extra junk I don't need?
Thanks in advance.

I would recommend you start out simply with nLite and get a feel for it at first. There are "addons" for nLite that can be made with AutoIt, and they allow for program integration. You can use nLite for drivers or DP BASE from driverpacks.net if you want full driverpacks. I think it would be the BASE first, then nLite, but I can never remember those things, I always have to check.
Service Pack 3 is going to already be on the image, so you don't really have to worry about that. To get rid of all the "junk", you'll want to go through all of the customization options in nLite. There are a lot of things you can tweak, and I recommend you be patient and go through most of it, since the result is a better-running and smaller installation.
Also for the programs, VMWare has something called ThinApp (formerly Thinstall, I think). You can use it to make .msi installers which you can probably include somehow. Look more into unattended setups with nLite.
The addons can be found across the internet (get them from a reliable source, though), and I found this multi-tutorial that might help you.

1. Nlite is the best to use since its all basic
2. no you dont need sp3 installer.
3 go on the nlite forums there are downloadable installers that you slipstream to the setup
4. nlite gives you the option to remove unneeded stuff
there should be tutorials on the nlite forums for all this just look around there.
