ok so, i've dabbled in hacking...but i've only hacked from the infomation provided by previous hackers, finding arrays at different addresses

and now i need to hack from scratch
the premice is a basic one
In Rohan Blood Fued there is a fishing mini game
you have to stop and arrow on a moving green bar to catch a fish.
i'm guessing that this is simple a value change at an address and is client side ie.
00 88 99 CD 00 00 15
when a "hit"
changes to
00 88 99 DD 00 00 15
or something similar

the two problems i have are that this address change is probably instantanious and only happens when you hit the bar

if anyone can help me with anything at all with how to find this address
so i can note the address change.
i'll then be able to make a small script with a hotkey that will change the address to the "hit" one and i'll get the fish

i just have no idea how to find an address i know nothing about and can't find by simply looking for changed values

any help would be great thanks

What exactly is the fishing bar like? Is it just a bar with a little arrow going back and forth from either left to right or up to down? Does it just keep going until you press a key?

If so, I'd think that would be very simple to find by just searching for 4 bytes that keep changing. But you said that you can't find it that way, so there must be something I'm missing.

i found a video.
but i can't post urls, if you search youtube for - rohan fishing, you'll see a video of how it works

it's a vertical bar with an arrow moving up and down
there is a green bar also moving up and down
you have to stop the arrow on the green bar by pressing spacebar.

as i said, i think it's a simple value change from a resting or miss value
to a different "hit" value when you stop it on the green bar.
but the value may only change when you hit the bar for a very small period of time before going back to the resting or miss value.
so the search for the changed value would have to be done exactly when you hit spacebar AND hit the green bar.

Dude, no offence. Just use Autoit, in your situation its way way easier to make a working bot then using CE. If you know any basic VB then it should take no more then 1.5 minutes, if you know Java, then use Java to make a bot

So it's one of those things that seem to happen in an instant?

Is there a chance you could do a memory search for both the arrow and the green bar and make both of them stop, and then from there give them the value you want to put them in the correct places?

well i don't know jack about making bots in VB or Java, but i see your point.
i guess i'll look into it

if you plan on making a bot for it try SCAR, it's probably the easiest language to learn and it's extremely versatile.

(the language is similar to pascal, it's basically plain US English...)
