How dose the speedhack work? Dose it increase cpu usage? or?

Well Iam just wondering how dose this speedhack work in CE. Dose it increase cpu usage for a particular game? or dose it increase w/e ram or performance available? Because I play enemy territory and when i use cheat engine speedhack for it, It looks like Iam laggy, slow, sketchy when i movie alot of heaviness it dosnt even make it better.. why?

RAM and CPU work simultaneously, so if RAM processes an operation, CPU will process the same operation with the same amount of time. So Speedhacking will increase RAM and CPU usage simultaneously, so the worse your PC is the worse the performance.

Games work by looking at the current time, and then decide or calculate what to do.
The speedhack just increased the speed that the time goes. (See it like moving the fingers of an old analog clock clockwise)

Thanks for the cute example. But Again it dosnt work for server sided games. Like Enemy Territory..

it does, but you probably mean that you get kicked out, blocks you from walking, or that you don't actually fire faster, then it has been blocked by the server. (e.g it has set a limit on how much you can move in a certain time)

But if you mean the fact that all other people walk faster than you, that's just an illusion

For example, in unreal tournament 3 the speedhack works great

Humm Iam not really sure the server blocks it as this game is 7 years old I asure you the developers are not that smart back then:P. So it gets a bit smoother when i set speedhack as follows...

speed @ 2 sometimes it allows me to go up to 2.5 without lagging or shakeness... or loss of fps.

sleeptime @ 1 other than 1 it slows the game kills alot of fps.


so what should i do?

sleeptime to at least 20 should save the fps (sleeptime defines how often the time is updated) You could also download ce 5.5 which doesn't need a sleeptime

Speedhack is of course dependant on the speed of the cpu, if the system can't render faster, then the speed is limited to the graphics card.
Also, calculations regarding fps and ping are also affected by the speedhack.

Ok my cpu is opteron 148 amd x64 2.22ghz overclocked to 2.65ghz graphix card is gtx 260 nvidia... Iam sure there is a mistake:(. Eveyrthing seems fine on my end however its the speed hack dosnt work correctly for this game. For instance, i ran lan server on this game and i set speed hack to 2.5 sleep time 1 and i was flying, shooting faster , run faster do everything way too fast. But on online servers its like no difference maybe a minimal difference but not shooting faster tho. Anyways i made a post

well, shooting faster with speedhack is in almost no online game. That is always handled on the server side. Even since 1995 (You send the command to fire to the server, the server checks how long ago it was that you fired, and if allowed, do the calculations and see if someone was in your line of fire)

But in some games you are able to walk faster (useful in capture the flag and other speed based types) this is possible because some games just send the current X,Y Z positions, and the map is too complex for checking movement possibilities without slowing the game down when more than 2 people are on)

As for paying for hacks, you can try, but don't expect many people to even consider helping you.

Well lets put it this way how about i DONATE for the website and you help me sir?


P.S. Is it possible to speedhack a game that is mostly server sided? and the speed is calculated by the server not client? Is it possible? to change the values and codes?

no, if it's mostly server sided you can't. You can only modify/manipulate what your computer tells the server.

ut3 example: Your location isn't handled by the server. Client does all the calculations and then tells the server the location, so hackable
But if it's a game that ALSO handles your location on the server (you send the command to move in direction x,y,z then the server calculates your next position and tells you it) then no, not possible. At most an aimbot can be made then

As for donating to the site just for a hack, it won't help. Server sided is server sided. and I usually do not do online games myself

But, if you are OBSESSED with cheating in such a game, and would do ANYTHING, then spend the money on hiring some trained mercenaries, find out where the server is located, then take over the building the server is with your mercenaries, and while they hold everyone under fire, you can install ce on their server and hack...

Sounds depressing. I actully dont know if the speed is mostly server sided or no. However, what i would like to know is lets say the speed is handled by server, then is it possible to increase speed at least a bit?

You could use packet editting to make some sort of a "teleporter" which would allow you to warp a certain amount of distance instead of slowly moving. CE can packet edit, but I would reccomend WPE.

man that sounds so complicated. and so much math involved. Well how about Enhancing overall. Like for example if i go to all proccessors and right click on the game i play and use set priority and use real time priorty it will be better? cuz i noticed lagginess. Also how is that possible editing those packets.

Theres plenty of tutorials on using WPE, I'm actually using WPE for several years, while im quite new to CE and assembly. The lag won't be better during Online gaming due to several reasons. Even if your PC is well enough to handle speedhacking, the server will constantly send the locations of other players that will be compared with the locations on your pc - which will differ. And that means, your PC will constantly struggle between client and server side operations. Which could cause or not cause lag depending on many factors...
