How long does it take to make a Vista Recovery Disk?
I'm feeling to make one in case my computer broke.
Do anyone know ^^ ? Thanks in advance !

What do you mean by Vista Recovery disc?
If it's the repair disc then your Vista disc itself is also a repair disc, there is no need to create it.

If your talking about creating a backup (the disc that came with OEM machines like Dell or so) then it all depends on the Vista edition you got.

Windows Complete System backup and restore is only available for Vista Business and above. Home Premium and below does not have it.

If you got the correct edition then creating one depends on how many programs and files you've got.

Creating to a partition will be a lot faster than burning to DVD discs.

Note: Home Premium only back up personal files while Business backs up the entire OS.

btw, I've tried it before and it's not that bad. Pretty good actually.

Are you using an Acer system? They don't supply the disc itself, but a blank disc and some recovery tools so you can burn it do the blank disc.
Anyhow, when I used it on my acer system it took 20-30 minutes

Is your Question how long will it take o make a Recovery Disc or How long will it take to reformat my Harddrive using the Recovery Disc...

If all you want to do is reformat, any small tool will work, but I'm thinking you mean reformat and reinstall [Windows].
If that's the case and you don't have a copy of the operating system you want, you're out of luck unless you were to obtain a copy from the internet illegally (which would depend on speed of download and extraction), and we can't give much support if that's the case.
