Starting to get very agitated here. The system was able to locate it just fine, but when it came to registration, the screen will stay as it is for hours on end. I've tried registering it multiple times without success.
Anyone know what I should try doing? _________________

Message sent to Southwing and Sony. More detailed, hopefully more helpful.
I'm posting here because I think that someone is able to help me, and not all of you are dingbats like that one. ^
Also, thank you slovach.

Recently I was given a Southwing SA505 to use with my PS3. Other users had reported it as working great, and very few have reported that they are having the same problem as I am; not being able to pair it with the PS3.
I contacted SCEA Consumer Services, and they suggested that I look at a troubleshooting article (which I had already read and was of no help to me), and if that did not work to contact the producer of the mic. So I did.
This is my dilemma, step by step.
1. Plugged in GFM bluetooth dongle v2.0 (I'm not quite sure if I even need this) to the PS3
2. Turned on headset, as confirmed by a chime and blue flashing light that it was on
3. Brought my Playstation 3 to the Bluetooth Device Registration Screen
4. Put headset into pairing mode, as confirmed by chimes and alternating orange and blue lights
5. Started scaning with PS3 to locate bluetooth device
6. Successfully located SA505, and entered Pass Key 0000 as directed in manual
7. Got stuck on "Registering... Please Wait" screen for excessive amount of time
I don't know why it does this, Sony doesn't seem to care enough to take the time to figure out why, and I'm afraid that since PS3 is not a Southwing product, none of them will know why, either. So I'm copying and editing the message I sent to them (as it was more organized than the one I sent Sony, and that may be my problem) and posting it here in hopes that owners of this headset will be able to help me.
I started the registration process at 5 am, which is well over two hours ago.
Other information which may or may not be of any help:
PS3 Model CECHL01
