We recently got a message recorded on the answering machine of my home phone and my cellphone. They all sound like a little girl's voice, and we don't recognize the number. One of the recorded messages had the little girl say this: "You're a fucking bitch, asshole." Then she giggled, almost as if somebody told her to do it. Only a few people I know have my home and cell number; but it was none of their numbers. What should I do? Is there any place I can report this to?

You can call the police and report harassment.
I did that and they got charged with harassment.

No, I mean just call your local police department and give them the number
that prank calls you.

Prank calls happen. Don't take it too seriously. Its probably one of your friends dicking with you. 
Don't go off reporting these things. Its not like they are threatening your life or doing it constantly while your family is trying to sleep.

that prank calls you. |

Well, you see, my mom was the first one to hear that message...and she's a little WAY too freakish about these things. I'm just getting an idea of what I should do.

Yes, but its good to stop things in early stages before it spreads.

Come to think of it, that voice sounded a lot like one of my friend's little sisters...  . I would call him now, but its 10:13 here, and he's probably sleeping. I'll see him in school tomorrow, anyway.
Now, if it wasn't his sister, how would I find out who it was?

If it was a landline, you might get lucky with a site like Whitepages.com (US, I think).
If it was a mobile phone, I don't know.
