As you know 2008 was a disaster.
Dow Jones Industrials (DJI^) crashed to 7500, a 18 yr low.
The housing market was at its worst collapsing through the whole year of
2008 as banks Failed, as people bought too expensive things and did not
have any money to give back to the bank. AIG, Meryll Lynch, Fannie Mae,
Freddie Mac and Citigroup financial all needed bailouts while Lehman
Brothers and Bear Sterns failed and filed bankruptcy. Not to mention GM
was close to filing bankrupcy and started begging Capitol Hill wasa billion
dollar bailout that was improved. The $700,000,000,000 bailout that was
passed my congress didnt help anything. With unemployment raising to
7.2% for December, was an all time low since World War II. The national
debt (combined with Gross and everything etc) climbed over 53 trillion
dollars, which means an average family has about $95,000 debt. Some
countries in Europe like Poland and parts of Albania seaped into a
depression already.

I dont know if you payed attention to what I wrote but my question is...
Do you think we are going to go into a depression as ecomonists say we
are going to keep on declining.

I Think we are in for some hard times, i personally HOPE we don't have another great depression....But tha facts are there...

If unemployment climbed to 15% then we will go over the hill though.
I also dont think Congress should give bailouts.

Obama should take 50% of all american billionaires money like bill fucking gates to pay for every debt everyone has and we'd be back to normal.....

Circuit city is gonna let I think 30,000 people go 'cause they're closing forever....

Meh the £ has fallen so much. From 1.98 to 1.45 on the dollar and we're almost matching the euro.

Job market has taken a dive here, alot of companies going into administration and closing. Even getting a job in a supermarket is hard, they dont have the money to employ more people. Housing market has gone to the shit as well.

Hell no, we're not going in to a depression.
I'm going to vent now.
1.) Banks loaned more money than they should have to people that shouldn't have gotten loans
2.) People borrowed more money than they should have
3.) gov't gave banks lots 'o money so they could start loaning again
4.) banks are BUYING OTHER BANKS and still not loaning money
5.) news people go on TV saying 'oh shit, we're in a depression. Save your money, stock market's gonna crash.'
6.) people panic, save money, and pull everything (if anything) out of the stock market
7.) I complain about it.

Also, Obama hasn't done SHIT yet. Don't judge him. If he does 1/2 of what he said he was going to(Giving every cent of treasury money to the average person is what I'm talking about.), we're screwed, though. Lets hope he's as crooked as every other politician out there...
