i just reformatted my comp, a dell dimension 8250, with windows xp sp1 oem version, and everything is extremly slow. all my RAM is connected and fine. there just seems to be this lag as if the processor is gone. but my computer detects my processor. if i try to browse the interent with firefox, when i scroll, the page laggs and SLOWLY scrolls frame by frame. do i need to install a driver for my video card? i though it was but idk

EDIT: Fixed it Very Happy Thanks guys!

Video driver isn't installed. Get it from ATI, not Dell.
I think you have a Radeon 9700?

Google "ati" and click "Graphics drivers" under the first entry.
Under XP, select "Professional/Home". Hit Radeon, and scroll down to select "Radeon 9700 Series". Hit go, and it will redirect you to download options. You can install Catalyst Control Center and the driver, or just the driver.
