hi,

i was wondering how in general would you find the monster health address.

Would i select the monster and search unknown initial value. then attack the mob and search decreased value?

First off, you don't need to select the mob, but you can.
Hit something on it and scan for decreased value, hit again and do the same till you get like to low amount of addresses, then try to guess which one controls HP. So you better find a mob that had like lots of hp.. you may need to scan a lot

Is there any other way to do it?

like say i find the 'monster selected' address(search 0 when you have no monster selected, search 1 when you have a monster selected and repeat), and i maybe could do something from that address that will lead me to the selected monster's hp?

no, what you said is wrong. You could try to use exact scan if you know how much HP monster have in numbers (not just a bar/line)
