| .. If possible. Some of the images on there have cuss words on there, and if I don't hide them by the time the next phone-checking time in school comes by, I'm gonna be in deep trouble D:

your school look through your phone?
 do your parents know they do this? This is an invasion of privacy and shouldn't be happening.

Exactly.
That's illegal.
You should bring this up, they have no right to go through your iPhone.
However until then re-sync your iPhone with different images.

If he/she goes to a private school, it could be in the contract to go through the phone.
It's most likely to check against cheating through txt messages..
Also, I'm sure someones parent is a lawyer and they have already checked it out..

Against the law as long as I'm concerned... Invasion of privacy... They could read all your texts with private info. Not good..
You could just "FORGET" your phone  ..

It could also be used to check for nudity of teens.
Like a girlfriend sending boyfriend pics.. Which is against the law.
And at least where I live they are really cracking down on it.

no it's not. it would be a condition of going to school, like some shops have a condition of entry. if my school convisgates your phone, they search it entirely for innapropriate material.
anyway, if you've got an iphone, there should be some app that can lock a folder or hide things for you.

There used to be a program on jailbroken ipods/iphones called Hidepod but I dont believe they have made a version for appstore yet.
