I have this thing in the outer corner of my left eye and it's making me worried. At first it felt like dead skin and it really really hurt when I barely touched it/squeezed my eyes shut. After 2 days it didn't hurt as much and it was like red dead skin, I put lotion on it which REALLY hurt. It's been a few days since that and it's still there, it hurts a tiny bit but now it feels like it's bruised when I push against the bone underneath it, is this an eye infection or something? My parents think I just scratched it or something.

interesting... might be dryness from tears from your eyes or something like that. i have very dry skin around my eyes from being so god damn fucking sleepy.
lotion might hurt, but it seems as though it helps the most.

It hurts when I blink on purpose now. It feels like poking a bruise.

sounds like a text-book case of Episcleritis.
amputation is your only option... I don't want to alarm you, but i got a B- in biology so i know what I'm talking about.
You are going to need a scalpel , some thread , a needle, , rubbing alcohol and A LOT of rags... PM me for details on the procedure, as people here may be squeamish.

There's no huge bulging clumps of red veins...
It might have just been a pimple cause I'm 13. If it gets to the point were it hurts when I close my eyes, I'll go to the doctor.

Well I remember my eye once really hurt like that but it was because it
was irritated.
I dont think ypu'll need any special operations like that guy with the B-
said but it might be severe alergies or Pink Eye.

| Definitely no amputation required. Have you been getting that much sleep lately?

DO A BARREL ROLL!!!
No rly. Just chill out. From what you said, it doesn't hurt as much and is going away. You probably just had a sty or something, but it could have been a pimple. In any case, it's going away. Problem solved.

| If you can find something called A&D Ointment try that but do NOT get it in your eye or on your tear duct. It should help the pain and discomfort and shouldn't burn. If you have the nads, stick a needle in it and then squeeze the surrounding area too see if there is any pus. I don't think I need to say it, but do not stick the needle in your eye or near your tear duct because you could damage them. White or yellow pus means it's infected and you may need antibiotics. Sterilize the needle beforehand by either boiling it or holding the tip to an open flame for atleast 1 minute. You may need something to hold the needle with so you don't burn your fingers. If your loooking for a cure-all solution drop your local Free Clinic and have them take a look. If it is an infection and it doesn't go away on it's own soon there may be real danger of losing your eye. So, be safe and try and get it looked at it possible.
