Hey guyz,

I recently downloaded Windows 7 from Microsoft and running it on Microsoft Virtual PC 2007.
Is it possible to install Windows 7 on an External Hard drive?
A clean Install not a VPC VHD file...
If so how and is it posible to do so without reformating the external HDD.
The external Hard Drive is NTFS...

You could probably partition the hard drive and install it on the partitioned space.

Shrink the partition you have files on on the HDD, make a new one with the unallocated space, and install on that.
