Correct me if I'm wrong, but you have to program something to get it to do what you want. For example, childrens toys, like RC Cars. If you move the joystick forward, the car goes forward. I want to know how to do that. It would be awesome if someone could let me know what language is most commonly used, or provide me with some resources.
Thanks,
Koss

You need to study electronics.
And about the language, C would do.

| Probably the easiest thing to get move with your own code is this: LEGO Mindstorms. There are some C, Java, whatever libs available. Wikipedia tells you more.

Learning C is definitely a must in general. Be prepared for a very difficult project though. I would recommend getting a demo board to play with, such as the Atmel Butterfly board.

I've always wanted to do this too, I just never got how code can make something physically move.

Doesn't Basic Stamp have to do with Paralax, Inc.?
