How to make yourself got to Sleep?

Winter Break is ending on Monday for me, and that's a huge problem! I've been staying up so late, I wake up around 1:00 PM. Usually at night, I've been trying to fix my problem. But I can't go to sleep just by sitting there and closing my eyes. I spend hours just laying there thinking. I don't want to resort to taking pills, but if I must, I will.

i've discovered that if i move around alot, i wont fall asleep. but my trick to sleeping quick is to stay in one spot face up. and try not to think

So tomorrow night, Stay up all night. (Saturday) Then on Sunday I'll be super tired, and want to sleep early!

That won't help, because you'll go to sleep but will over-sleep and make yourself even MORE tired.
Tip1: Don't do anything in your bed EXCEPT sleep.
Tip2: Eat good throughout the day, but not directly BEFORE you go to sleep.
Tip3: Make sure you exercise, go play paintball or something and you'll sleep like a baby. If your body doesn't need rest, you won't get any.

wow man if you think that's a solution, just dont sleep , drink coffee.
but stay off the computer like 1 hour before you sleep. i find it hard to sleep after using the computer some times

When you feel like sleeping, masturbate then sleeps. Works for me.

EDIT: 1000st Post about masturbating. Totally worthed it.

Anyway, before I go to sleep, I always read comics or something, and after a few minutes of reading I just realize I'm getting sleepy.

OR you could drink milk before bed, sometimes that works, lulz.

@Hack-imz yes it does.

@ OP here are 5 tips to fall asleep:

Take a Warm Bath:
It's a great way to relax your body. Don't overdo it, however. You merely want to relax your body, not exhaust it. Too long in hot water and your body is drained of vitality.
Use bath salts, or throw in Epsom salts and baking soda—one cup of each. These will relax you and also help remove toxins from your body.

Drink Warm Milk:
A glass of warm milk 15 minutes before going to bed will soothe your nervous system. Milk contains calcium, which works directly on jagged nerves to make them (and you) relax.

Listen to Music:
Play some soft, soothing music that will lull you to sleep. There are even CD's and music designed for that very purpose. Some are specially composed music, others simply have sounds of waves rhythmically breaking, or the steady pattern of a heartbeat.

Get a Massage:
Have your spouse (or whoever) give you a massage just before going to sleep. If you can convince them to give you a full body massage, great. If not, even a short backrub and/or a face and scalp massage can be a big help. Have them make the massage strokes slow, gentle, yet firm, to work the tension out of your muscles and soothe you to sleep.

Masturbate:
Use your mind, no magazine/photos/movie of porn just use your mind to do the trick. Relax and do a quickie so that your mind and body will be on a work-out, as you climax you feel relaxed and accomplished. With the result either wipe it away or wash it. Then go ahead and sleep.

Aw man, I totally got the same problem as you. Just I sleep around 10 and try to get used to that. Arugh, freaking school bout to start. =/.

Drink 3 cups of very warm milk until you feel sick, then drink alchohol (If you're over 21), then just think about your crush, then fall asleep.
