When you buy an iPod touch there is this white plastic thing that comes with it... What is it? I don't think it is a stand becase it won't stay still on the table.

You can buy this dock that works with any iPod, you just remove the thing in there and replace it with yours. You have to use your plastic piece though.

Thats for the dock, if u have one u use it as a stand while u stick it on the dock
