I planned on putting a 1TB Seagate Barracuda in my

Case: NZXT LEXA Blackline Chasis
PSU: Corsair 650W
CPU: Core 2 Duo E8400
Mobo: Asus P5Q PRO
Memory: 2x2GB mushkin DDR2 800 5-4-4-12 @ 1.8V
GPU: MSI Radeon HD 4850
CPU Cooler: Thermaltake Big Typhoon
HDD: 1TB Seagate Barracuda

but I asked about it on another website, and people said the hard drive won't fit, or will be very crammed. Some suggested I could fit one or even two velociraptor hard drives in there. But, Velociraptors are hella expensive (the above build barely makes budget), and I don't know what to do.

lol, you got trolled...
just buy a 3.5" internal and it should fit.
more storage doesn't increase the size of the HDD casing.

LOL, wtf are you talking about, that is a 3,5" HDD.

Yes it will 100% fit the case, you can fit 5x of them.

There's no problem with the 1TB Barracuda in that build. You can fit a number more if you'd like to. By the way, nice build. Razz That's my current computer. I'd like to note that the case fans only have power input, there's no control to them. Not that large an issue, since the fans are pretty quiet, just thought I'd let you know.

the amount of GB's the HDD has have nothing to do with how much space it takesup physically.
