Nono, Youn eed posts because people will raid CEF then. If you could do anything with 1 post everyone could make trolls and spam pictures/pm's etc. Rep isnt a smart thing either because people will be hated and het -1 Rep just like you,WhosWhoOfHoosville.

posts and the 2 week delay is just so people don't just make an account to quickly post the url to their own website.

and about the reputation idea: timex987 and WhosWhoOfHoosville would then both be unable to post urls

So even respected members can have low reputation..

And if a newb suddenly got 100 Rep (Somehow.. By making 100 accounts with a dynamic IP or something...), he would be able to do more than a member who has been here for over a year...
